Hello, and welcome! My name is Amy Wiese and I am one of two Special Education teachers at the elementary school.  I have lived in Friend since July of 2015, and enjoy living in such a wonderful community!  Prior to our move, we lived in Lincoln, where I taught at Lincoln Public Schools for seven years.  My husband, Jake, and I have a daughter, Maya, and the three of us love spending time together!   We also enjoy time with our extended family and friends any chance we get.   We  love to travel, and often spend our summers making at least one trip to the mountains to camp and relax.  Reading (I am a book junkie!), music, coffee, and Chinese food are just four of my many favorites! :)  

 

I love working with children of all ages and abilities!  I learn something new from them everyday, and it is my hope they continue to learn from me as well!  I always look forward to working with parents and students to help ensure that this is their best school year yet!   I encourage parents to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time.
